A note from Dr. Sunita Gandhi

This is not a conference. It is a circle.

Dear fellow educator,

This is not a conference. It is a circle — of school leaders willing to open the door to new ideas, and to the possibility that even very good schools can become greater.

NEP 2020 named the future of education, for every child. The policy is in place; in most classrooms the dream is still to be realised. That unfinished work is why we gather.

Come not to be lectured at, but to see a new way of learning, to try it yourself, to be recognised for what you have already built — and to leave a Certified PATH Leader, with a year-ahead plan and a circle of peers to walk it with.

A year from now, you should be able to show how you transformed your school and your community. I would be glad to have you in the circle.

Dr. Sunita Gandhi

Founder, GETI · Creator, ALfA (Accelerating Learning for All) · Chief Academic Advisor, City Montessori School, Lucknow

01
Why we are here

NEP 2020 named the future. Our classrooms still await it.

India's National Education Policy 2020 set out a bold vision for how children should learn. Years on, in most classrooms the deeper shift it called for is still to be realised. This Circle is about realising it — in your school.

From teaching to learning

The lesson is delivered. The vision: the child leads, and the teacher guides.

From passive to active

Rows, facing the board. The vision: every child doing, speaking, making — a participant, never a spectator.

From narrow to holistic

Marks alone. The vision: the whole child — head, heart and hands.

Equity & inclusion

The front row thrives. The vision: every child reached — and the last child lifted most.

The invitation

You've built something good. Let's make it greater.

Over two days, GETI gathers the leaders who shape schools — from across India and around the world — to learn a new way forward we call HiPATH, to be recognised for the work you've already done, and to leave ready to lead change.

You learn

A new way forward

Experience HiPATH — the way of teaching that turns teacher-led classrooms into learner-led ones, across K–12.

You are recognised

A Leadership Distinction

Earn a Distinction in the field your work fits best — selectively conferred by a GETI panel on the evidence you provide.

You qualify

A Certified PATH Leader

Complete both days and leave a Certified PATH Leader — ready to lead the change and guide your own team.

What you'll take home

Two days that transform how your school works.

1

A learner-led classroom

Turn teaching into learning — pairs, groups, every child active.

2

A way to grow your teachers

The CAR+R coaching cycle — so growth continues long after the day ends.

3

PATH across K–12

Purposeful, active, transformative, holistic — in every grade, every subject.

4

Parents as partners

A school families are proud of, and others long to join.

5

Assessment that drives learning

Upgrade assessment and let data lead an evidence-based reform.

6

Ideas to lead new change

A year-ahead plan, and a community of leaders to walk it with.

The way forward · The HiPATH way

Which road should a school take?

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) — Alice and the Cheshire Cat at the crossroads.

The Cat's lesson is simple: if you do not know where you are going, any road will do. A school that knows where it is headed chooses its road with purpose — and moves.

THIS WAY?THAT WAY?
The HiPATH Promise
HiPATH gives a school both the destination and the means to reach it — fast.

CAR+R — Catalyse · Apply · Reflect · Research

The coaching cycle that grows teachers where one-off workshops can't: teachers learn it, apply it in their own classrooms with video evidence, reflect on what changed, and — the final R — run real action research, earning a certificate. Across 30 weeks, not a single day. Practice, feedback and enquiry are why it sticks.

schools across government & private sectors, in 12 countries, now use ALfA

Certified to Transform

Two days in. A different school ahead.

A Certified PATH Leader credential

Earned by completing both days — lead change and train your own staff, multiplying impact across every classroom.

Your year-ahead transformation plan

A school-specific plan built in the room and sharpened by peer feedback — ready to run from day one of the new session.

A Distinction, publicly honoured

Your leadership profile reviewed and recognised at the awards ceremony — standing you carry, and a story your parents will hear.

The trainer's toolkit

Everything you need to coach a peer and lead HiPATH at home — so the Circle doesn't end when you leave the room.

The HiPATH Proof

Same children. Same timetable. Far more learning.

CMS compared its own Grade 3 campuses on a common, externally set and marked assessment. The campuses using ALfA outperformed those that did not — and the gap between strongest and weakest narrowed, because the children at the bottom moved the most.

What leaders say

The room speaks for itself.

"
The GETI Ed Learning Program was highly informative, with ALfA Pedagogy and Educational Leadership sessions giving us practical tools for a more inclusive, student-centred classroom. It reminded us that while Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we learn, teach, and work, it cannot replace empathy, courage, kindness, or integrity. Our role as educators is to nurture both knowledge and character, strengthening values and compassion to prepare children for the future of humanity, not just technology.
Mrs. Geeta JaiswalPrincipal, CIS Shakti Nagar
"
This program inspired me with innovative ideas, practical leadership strategies, and meaningful collaborations. I return to my school motivated to create a more engaging and student-centered learning environment.
Sudha AwasthiPrincipal, City International School
"
Pair learning encourages collaboration, builds confidence, strengthens communication, and ensures every child actively participates — because children learn best when they learn together.
Dr. Suchitra BandyopadhyayPrincipal, Army Public School, Kolkata
"
I was amazed to see children from Montessori to Grade 5 confidently reading English and Hindi newspapers on their own.
Mrs. Sangeeta SinghHeadmistress, The South Public School, Nagpur
"
When learning becomes active, every child discovers their true potential. HiPATH is transforming classrooms — making children active learners, building confidence, and creating the meaningful learning every educator aspires to.
Mr. Epari SarthakDirector, Sankalp Senior Secondary School, Odisha
"
PATH pedagogy is making learning purposeful, active, and truly child-centric.
Dr. Prerna MitraPrincipal, GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow
"I'm at the Educational Leadership Conference here in Lucknow, and I have to say I haven't had so much fun at a conference in years. I believe that learning should be fun. And obviously the PATH method and the ALfA method, they include a lot of fun… I endorse it and agree with it a hundred percent. It's truly student-centric. The students do the work, and that's exactly how learning takes place. I really endorse this way of teaching."
Prof. David Wittenberg · Chief Innovation Officer, 10xGrowth, Mumbai
"Learning is a lifelong process for a teacher. With about 41 years in education — having travelled the world and trained educational leaders from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, teachers, parents and students alike — I deem this a very exclusive programme. I see a real amalgamation of thought, and future-ready insights being given to the educators here — the 'galvanizers', as they are now called."
Dr. J.S. Paranjyothi · Founder, Oasis Institutions · Vice President, NISA

Your recognition · Leadership Distinctions

A field you fit — earned, on your evidence.

Each Distinction names an educator who changed what schools could be, and recognises a leader who carries that spirit forward. You may put forward up to two fields; a GETI panel reviews your evidence and confers a Distinction only where the evidence supports it. It is recognition, not a certificate of attendance.

The Montessori Distinction

Learner-led leadership: children leading their own learning.

The Phule Distinction

Inclusion & access: bringing in every child who might be left out.

The Tagore Distinction

Holistic & creative education of the whole child.

The Radhakrishnan Distinction

Developing, mentoring and inspiring teachers.

The Kalam Distinction

Innovation and igniting future-readiness.

The Freire Distinction

Partnering with parents and the community.

The Escalante Distinction

Lifting results, especially against the odds.

The Korczak Distinction

Child wellbeing, safety and dignity.

The Vivekananda Distinction

Building character, values and confidence.

The Bloom Distinction

Upgrading assessment & leading data-driven reform.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions.

What is the GETI Leadership Circle?
A two-day gathering for the leaders who shape schools — founders, principals, directors and academic heads. You experience HiPATH live, are recognised for the work you've already built, and leave a Certified PATH Leader. It is not a conference; it is a circle of peers.
When and where is it?
6–7 August 2026 — two full days — with optional HiPATH classroom visits on Day 3, 8 August. It is held at the World Unity Convention Center, CMS, Lucknow, India.
Who should attend?
Founders, Directors, Principals, Vice-Principals, Coordinators, Academic Heads and Trainers. Up to three delegates per school — one form per delegate.
What does it cost, and what's included?
A nominal ₹800 for one day or ₹1,500 for both — listed value ₹25,000, generously subsidised so cost is never the barrier. It covers the training and all meals across both days, the Certified PATH Leader credential, your Leadership Distinction and HiPATH-Certified School recognition.
Can I attend just one day?
Yes — ₹800 covers one day. To earn the Certified PATH Leader credential, however, you complete both days.
Is accommodation available?
Modest on-site accommodation is available at ₹1,800 (shared, with an evening meal at the venue), first come and limited. A list of nearby hotels is available for everyone else.
What's the difference between Pre-Registration and Registration?
Pre-Registration — the short form at the top of this page — saves your place and registers your interest in under a minute. Registration is the full form, where you confirm your details and upload your photo. Pre-register first, and we'll guide you to the full Registration Form.
Why is it "by application"?
We keep the room small and serious. The short form helps us plan, and lets a GETI panel consider Leadership Distinctions on the evidence you provide.
What will I leave with?
A Certified PATH Leader credential, a year-ahead transformation plan for your school, a Leadership Distinction where your evidence supports it, and the trainer's toolkit to lead HiPATH with your own staff.
Do I need to use HiPATH already?
No. The Circle is where you learn it — many leaders come to discover it for the first time.
Is it just talks and lectures?
No. You watch a live PATH classroom on stage, try paired learning yourself, practise the CAR+R coaching cycle, and build your own plan with peer feedback.
What is HiPATH (PATH × ALfA)?
HiPATH is the way of teaching at the heart of the Circle. PATH — Purposeful, Active, Transformative, Holistic — is the destination; ALfA (Accelerating Learning for All) is the vehicle that gets children there fast, turning teacher-led classrooms into learner-led ones.
What is a Leadership Distinction, and how do I get one?
There are ten Distinctions, each named for a great educator. You may put forward up to two fields; a GETI panel reviews your evidence and confers a Distinction only where it is supported. It is recognition, not a certificate of attendance. Apply at getilearn.org/recognition.
What happens on Day 3?
An optional day of school visits to see HiPATH × ALfA classrooms in action — to watch the practice live before you take it home.
How do I get my attendance card?
Every registered participant gets a personalised card to share. Submit a clear, high-resolution photo with your Registration Form and we'll place it on your card — best results with at least 1000 × 1000 px, well-lit, face centred, on a plain background.
How do I register?
Pre-register on this page, then complete the Registration Form. You can also email path@getilearn.org or call +91 74084 01000.
